Installing Talx

  1. Open Talx-Setup.exe

    You'll find it in your Downloads folder, or at the bottom or top of your browser.

  2. If Windows SmartScreen shows up

    You might see a blue box saying "Windows protected your PC". Windows shows this for newer apps it hasn't seen many times yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.

  3. Allow administrator access

    Windows will ask if Talx can make changes to your PC. Click Yes. Talx needs this to change system settings like power plans and process priority. It never touches your games, and every change is listed on the Restore page.

  4. Sign in and press Boost

    Sign in with Google, Apple, Discord or email. Then launch a game, hit Boost, and play.

Uninstalling later

Open Talx, go to Restore and press Undo everything. Then uninstall from Windows Settings → Apps. Your settings go back to how they were before Talx.
